This is called Haiku gardens in Kaneohe behind where my in-laws utilized to live. We utilized to go there every morning to feed the fish as well as turtles.

So when El Hub was growing up there was this rare, special fruit called a mountain apple that isn’t really an apple (I don’t think), however the trees are extremely unusual nowadays. There’s one at Haiku Gardens, though!

The seared ahi toast at Pig & The Lady, which is an Oriental combination restaurant in Chinatown. This meal was amazing! one of the very best dishes I’ve ever had in my life. Eyes rolling back in ecstasy good. The ahi was truly fatty, so it melted the minute it hit your tongue, as well as they put it on this truly crispy toast with shaved garlic pieces on top… Mmm!!!

I want to go back just to eat all the pasta dishes.
