Have You tried These PUR Cameo Contour Dual-Ended Contour Sticks?

I’m not cuckoo for contouring. On myself. I feel like it looks a little severe on me, and whenever I do it, my cheeks and my nose end up looking sharper and much more chiseled than I’d like, which makes me look more, I dunno…villainous?

Call me crazy, but I’d rather have chubby cherub cheeks any day of the week.

Still, every once in a while (it’s a rare occasion), I will “go there” and do some contouring, and when I do, I like creams much more than powders, just because I think it’s a softer, less apparent look, which is the effect I get with these $39.50 Cameo Contour Dual-Ended Contour Sticks by PUR Cosmetics.

Each stick comes with two shades — a lighter one for highlighting and a darker one for contouring — along with a blending sponge, which is essentially a BeautyBlender.

Most of the time I’d use them on top of foundation and concealer, so I’d do my base makeup first, and then, while it was still wet (to make things simpler to blend), I’d go in with one of the sticks. The oil-free formula dries to a powder finish and has a slight, pore-friendly sheen.

They don’t look heavy whatsoever on my skin, which is another thing they have going for ’em. There are five shades available in Light, Medium, Tan, Dark and Deep (I wear Tan), and you can find them now online and at Ulta and Kohls.

In other news, what have you been viewing on TV lately? Anything good? I’ve been all about…

Jane the Virgin

The walking Dead

Jessica Jones

The Last man on Earth

Scream Queens

Crazy Ex-Girlfriend
